Mount Vernon Relocates One Stop Career Center
Free tax preparation is available in Mount Vernon.
MOUNT VERNON, NY — Westchester County Executive George Latimer and the Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board are pleased to announce the relocation of its Mount Vernon One-Stop Career Center from 100 East First St. to its new location at “The Modern.” “The Modern” is located at 130 Mount Vernon Ave. in Mount Vernon.
The 100 East First Street location will officially close its doors at close of business Thursday, April 5 and reopen at its new location on Tuesday, April 10.
On Friday, April 6, the Free Tax Preparation Services will operate at the Mount Vernon CAG, 28 First St., Mount Vernon.

On Wednesday, April 11 and Friday, April 13, the Free Tax Preparation Services will be at the new location at “The Modern.”
