Mount Vernon Robbers Terrorize Woman With Box Cutter, Beer Bottle

MOUNT VERNON, VA—Police are seeking three men armed with a box cutter who robbed a woman in Mount Vernon Wednesday night.

Around 10:33 p.m., the victim was walking near the 7-Eleven in the 8400 block of Frye Road when three men approached. One of the men threatened to cut her with a box cutter and began slashing it toward her.

When she tried to walk away, the group threw a beer bottle that struck her. The men stole a backpack from her and fled.

The man with the box cutter was described as a 26-year-old white man around 5 foot 6 and weighing about 130 pounds. The second man was described as a 26-year-old man with a similar build to the first man. The victim could not provide a description of the third suspect.
