Mt. Vernon Unitarian Holiday Shop is BACK!

The day-long Holiday Shop at Mt Vernon Unitarian Church (MVUC) in Alexandria continues its 52-year tradition on Saturday November 22, after talking last year off because of construction. Holiday Shop will be open 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the new commons annex as well as the chapel, the Hollin Hall mansion, and the grounds of Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church, 1909 Windmill Lane, Alexandria Virginia.

One of the biggest artisan events in the area, MVUC’s Holiday Shop features 50 hand-picked artisans, Country Kitchen with its famous homemade chutneys, cakes, pies, cookies, breads, cheese balls, and jellies (go there first), Betty’s Boutique with gently used decorative household items, and the Jewelry Shop with estate jewelry.

The Holiday Shop attracts hundreds of regulars seeking unique and interesting gifts. A quilt made by the MVUC quilters called “mountain dreams” will be raffled off near the end of the day. Lunch can be purchased on site.
