Occasionally Cake Celebrates Anniversary with Free Cupcakes

For one local cake shop, celebrating its anniversary is a sweet occasion.

Occasionally Cake will celebrate its two-year anniversary on Thursday by giving away one free cupcake per person. They will also donate 50 percent of all sales made that day to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. 

"Our community has been wonderfully supportive in making Occasionally Cake their neighborhood cake shop," said owner Sabrina Campbell. "So sharing our cupcakes for free is a just a small way to show our gratitude and appreciation on our anniversary."

The Mount Vernon cake boutique offers more than 100 cupcake flavors and rotate flavors throughout the week. They advertise their flavors of the day on their Facebook page.
