ocial Action Linking Together (SALT) Advocacy Training Conference

Social Action Linking Together (SALT) is sponsoring an advocacy training conference that is featuring Sister Simone Campbell as the keynote speaker. Sister Simone Campbell is the Executive Director of NETWORK, a voice for justice dedicated to educating, lobbying and organizing for economic and social transformation. She is a religious leader, attorney and poet with extensive experience in public policy and advocacy.

Also, there will be a Presentation by Teresa Gardner and Paula Gardner, the two nurse practitioners recently featured in the CBS 60 Minutes program: On the Road with The Health Wagon Story—Wise County, VA. Holly Coy of the Council on Childhood Success will also speak.

Date: Saturday, November 1st, 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Location: The American Legion Post 180, Patriot Hall, 330 Center Street North, Vienna, Virginia.
