Police Blotter: June 15, 2011

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary with Intent to Assault:

Police were called to a home in the 8500 block of Carlos Court around 1:05 a.m. on Friday, June 3. Asad Ul Haq, 34, of 3073 Tecumseh Court in Woodbridge, was charged after he reportedly forced his way into a home and assaulted a 38 year-old woman inside the home. Officers determined the incident was domestic in nature. Warrants were obtained for burglary with the intent to assault, abduction, assault and battery and interfering with a communication device to prevent the summoning of police. Haq was located outside his home and arrested by Prince William County police before being turned over to Fairfax County police.

8000 block of Richmond Highway - bicycle stolen from business

8300 block of Richmond Highway - laptop stolen from school

8500 block of Sky View Drive - radio stolen from vehicle

6100 block of Vernon Terrace - three delivery packages stolen from residence

Vehicle Thefts: 

8200 block of Roxbury Drive - 1994 Ford truck

7900 block of Sausalito Place - motorcycle
