Police Blotter: May 3, 2011

Incidents reported to the Mount Vernon district substation of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Each week, the Fairfax County Police Department releases an update with incidents that have occurred across the county. The following incidents occurred last week in the Mount Vernon Police District:

Major incidents

A 51-year-0ld pizza delivery man was robbed by two men in the 8200 block of Greta Court on April 26. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects are between 18 and 19 years old, 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, and 160 to 165 pounds. One suspect was described as black and the other white.

Larcenies 

Five iPods were stolen from a business in the 8600 block of Richmond Highway.

Alcohol was stolen from a business in the 8600 block of Richmond Highway. 

Liquor was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8600 block of Richmond Highway. 

Vehicle Thefts

A Toyota Camry was stolen from the 7900 block of Kidd Street.

A Toyota Corolla was stolen from the 4300 block of Pembrook Village Drive.

A 2003 Ford was stolen from the 7900 block of Sausalito Place.
