Police: Shots Fired Outside Izalco Bar

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm:

According to police, a male suspect fired at least one shot from a gun outside of the Izalco Bar on 8403 Richmond Highway on Saturday, September 3. Two men, 22 and 28, stood by but were not harmed. The suspect is described as white, in his late 30s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 165 pounds, with a bald head. He left the scene in a teal, late 90s model Honda Civic with tinted windows and five-star rims.

8400 block of Blankenship Street – CD player stolen from vehicle

8100 block of Norwood Drive – tools stolen from vehicle

8100 block of Richmond Highway – merchandise stolen from business

8200 block of Richmond Highway – sunglasses stolen from business

8600 block of Richmond Highway – cash stolen from vehicle

Vehicle Thefts:

4500 block of Colony Court – 2001 Dodge

8400 block of Doyle Drive – 1999 Honda Civic
