Police: Woman Holds Up Convenience Store at Knifepoint

Fairfax County Police took a woman into custody Sunday for an alleged robbery at knifepoint that took place at a local convenience store.

The robbery took place in the 7800 block of Richmond Highway Sunday at 11:09 a.m. when a woman entered a convenience store and demanded merchandise. A knife was displayed to an employee, police said.

The suspect took merchandise and fled. There were no injuries.

Responding officers took Latosha Murray, 22 of the Alexandria area of Fairfax County into custody and charged her with robbery.
