Community Corner

RSVP Orientation - Fairfax

RSVP,
a volunteer program for individuals ages 55+, is holding orientations for
interested community members in Northern VA. The program features opportunities
for older adults to connect with the community, grow new skills, and tap into a
lifetime of experience.  Service
activities include tutoring adult ESL students, working in local and national
parks, delivering healthy meals, helping in classrooms, and providing tax
assistance to low-income families, and serving local veterans.  During this one-time, one-hour orientation,
you will learn about current volunteer opportunities, RSVP member benefits, and
volunteer policies. This program is great opportunity to meet others who share
a passion for service!
