Sherwood Hall Friends Bookstore open this Saturday, Sunday

This week the Friends of Sherwood Library bookstore is open Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from 1-3 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.

We are displaying recent donations of popular songbooks and how-to-play instrumental books. Also, we have a full cart of manga/graphic novels. In addition we have received a number of very nice poetry books, some in dual languages as well as some beautiful art books. Finally, we’ve re-stocked with recent donations in history, biography, religion, medicine, business, and self-help categories.

PLEASE NOTE: we are also featuring a cart full of books we have previously had special prices on. All these books will have a yellow slash on the sticker and will be half off.

Did you know our inventory is donated by members of the community? We greatly appreciate donations of kids’ games and puzzles, good quality books and electronic media in resalable condition. We currently are in special need of audio books and CDs; please no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts are available for tax purposes.
