The Friends of Sherwood bookstore will be open Wednesday, August 24th, 1-4 PM. The library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306.
Come check out our new hardback fiction selections. We also have puzzles, games, crossword books, and we have a new section with holiday themed books and other media. Our regular inventory includes more than 12,000 titles in various genres.
Not able to make it on Wednesday? We are also open Sundays from 1-3 PM.

Mark your calendars for our Back to School Sale, August 31st-September 7th. The sale will offer an even larger inventory including media for kids and resources for classrooms and home-schooling. This is a great way to build your home or classroom libraries!
Doing some downsizing or purging? Donations of books, recorded media, games, and puzzles always accepted and greatly appreciated; please no magazines or encyclopedias. Receipts available for tax purposes.
