Suspect Pushes Woman to the Ground, Steals Purse

Fairfax County Police report today (Thursday) that a woman was pushed to the ground and robbed of her purse Tuesday night on Fordson Road in the Hybla Valley area of the county.

The robbery took place in the 7400 block of Fordson Road Tuesday night at about 8:43 p.m. The victim was walking when she was approached from behind by a man.

The suspect pushed the woman to the ground and took her purse. The victim did not require rescue. The suspect was described as black, between 18 to 21, and about 6 feet tall.
