Three Juveniles Charged in Setting Outside Fires: Police
Police say that five fires were set near the Walmart at 7910 Richmond Highway and Creekside Village Apartments over three weeks.

Fire investigators have charged three juveniles with setting several outside fires in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County, Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The five fires occurred near the Walmart at 7910 Richmond Highway, and near Creekside Village Apartments over a three-week period in August, according to police.
Two of the juveniles are 14, one is 17, and have been charged with two counts of Virginia Code 18.2-86, fire capable of spreading, a class six felony, and one count of mischievous fire play, a class one misdemeanor, police said. Several of the fires involved burning woods, a tree, and newspapers, according to police.

Damage was minor and there were no injuries, police said.
