Units from the 6th Battalion responded Tuesday to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Richmond Highway in the Woodlawn area of Fairfax County, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Two drivers were trapped, according to the fire department.
Crews worked quickly to extricate the drivers and subsequently treated and transported to a local trauma center.
