Video: Harmony Heritage Singers Unite in Song

Barbershop singers and military veterans performed at Mount Vernon Estate.

The Harmony Heritage Singers entertained a large audience at the Friday morning as part of Veterans Day at Mount Vernon.

According to director Bob Wachter, the group formed in 1996 as the Mount Vernon Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The Harmony Heritage Singers consists of veterans from every branch of the military with more than 400 years of military service combined. The group initially formed with 13 members and has since expanded to 88 members on its current roster. The group has performed at the Mount Vernon Estate on Veterans Day for the last few years.
