This Week at Friends of Sherwood Library Bookstore
Featured books include Boxcar Children, Mo Willems, and Elvis Presley scrapbook

The bookstore will be open on Wednesday, 1-4 PM, and Sunday, 1-3 PM. Sherwood Regional Library is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane, Alexandria, 22306.
This week the special price table and cart have been restocked with numerous unexpected surprises, including: a 2-volume set of “Brent’s Life History of North American Birds,” the “Elvis Presley Scrapbook, Solid Gold Memories,” an oversize boxed volume “20 Years of Dilbert,” and the 1954 first edition of Bruce Catton’s “A Stillness at Appomattox.”
For young readers, the table features “A Is for Abigail” and “When Washington Crossed the Delaware,” both signed by author Lynne Cheney. In the children’s room we have set aside 4 hardcover books from popular author Mo Willems, and an 18-volume paperback set of “Boxcar Children” stories. Remember, each child and teen gets a free regular priced book from our collection each time they visit.
