Get ready foodies, Lux Events is returning to the peninsula for the 9th Annual Great Food Truck Festival – 90’s Edition!
The Great Food Truck Festival is dubbed the largest Food Truck gathering in the State and will feature a variety of food trucks serving a variety of delicious dishes and tasty treats.
🎟️ General Admission (12PM–6PM):
- $5.00 ($5.75 including $0.75 transaction fee) – May Early Bird Special
- $7.00 ($7.75 including $0.75 transaction fee) – After May Early Bird
- $8.00 ($8.75 including $0.75 transaction fee) – Day of Festival (At the Entrance Tent)

Step onto the Orange Carpet for our 90’s Hot Mic Moment featuring Comedian & Voiceover Artist Shaunte Says from 11am-2:30pm and Social Media Influencer CandyBee from 2:30pm-6:00pm. Also enjoy live crowd engagement with our comedian host, JMar Roache and our festival DJ Storyteller, and don’t miss the 90’s BINGO Power Hour at 4:30PM hosted by Comedian Jounte Ferguson featuring major prizes and nonstop excitement.
The festival will feature over 20 Food, Beverage, and Dessert Vendors from across the state, along with high-energy entertainment, live performances, celebrity appearances, and immersive 90’s-inspired experiences throughout the day.
90’s Dance Competition
Get ready to hit the dance floor as we bring the energy with a 90’s Dance Competition set, featuring a celebrity 90’s Hip Hop DJ (TBA) and crowd-favorite throwback vibes at 4:00pm. The winner will receive $100 Cash Prize!
90’s Best Dressed Walk-Through Contest
Show off your best 90’s look as guests take the stage for a live walk-through experience at 12:00pm, featuring a 90’s celebrity actress Christine Lakin from 90's Sitcom Step By Step and a chance to win a $100 Cash Prize! A Meet & Greet with her will take place at 12:30pm at the Meet & Greet Tent for the first 25 VIP Ticket Holders in Line.
The festival will also feature retail vendors and non-profit exhibitors, giving attendees the opportunity to shop, connect, and support local businesses and organizations.
Kids Zone
Grab the kids and stop by the Kids Zone for fun 90's Throwback Games. Game winners will receive Truck Bucks to be cashed in at our Pit Stop (our on-site kids market complete with small toys, candy, and more).
Competitions & Giveaways
Be apart of the action with our Food Judging Competition at 3:00pm (Guest Judges: VA Soulfood Queen, Social Media Influencer Betty, Champion Boxer Jerry Forrest, and Z104 Radio Morning Host Natalia) and the People’s Choice voting for Best Beverage and Best Dessert. Winners will be announced live on stage.
90’s Trivia Game
Think you know the 90’s? Put your throwback knowledge to the test during our 90’s Trivia Game hosted by Comedian JMar Roache! Expect fun questions covering 90’s music, TV shows, movies, pop culture, and more, with prizes from our participating festival vendors up for grabs at 5:00pm.
