4 Virginia Billionaires Make Forbes 400 List For 2017

Forbes magazine has released its annual list of the 400 richest Americans, and four billionaires from Virginia made the list — the same quartet who earned spots on the rankings a year ago. Forbes noted that the price of admission to the list jumped nearly 18 percent to $2 billion. There were 26 billionaires on the 2016 list who fell off, and 22 newcomers made the list for the first time.

Burger King Thief Wanted In Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, VA — A man is wanted for brazenly robbing a Burger King restaurant Tuesday morning at 7640 Linton Hall Road, according to Prince William County Police. He's described as white, in his mid 50s, 6-0, 190 pounds with a thin build, collar-length hair and a crooked tooth. He was last seen wearing a red and white cap, a long sleeved grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Man Overdoses On Heroin At Stafford Intersection: Police

STAFFORD, VA — A man who overdosed on heroin Sunday and passed out at the intersection of Ivywood Drive and Glennwood Avenue was hospitalized and later arrested, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Eric Scott Ashby, 40, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
