Citizens Must Register In Advance To Speak At June 15 Virtual Roanoke Council Meetings
Citizens may register to speak at the 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. City Council sessions by calling the City Clerk's office.

In continued compliance with Executive Orders 51 and 65 issued by Governor Northam and applicable law, and the continued closure of parts of the Municipal Building to the public by the City Manager, Roanoke City Council will hold its regular meetings at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2020, using electronic communication means without the presence of a quorum in one physical location and without the public present in the Council Chamber.

Citizens may register to speak at the 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. City Council sessions by calling the City Clerk’s office at 540-853-2541 or by sending an email to clerk@roanokeva.gov by 12 p.m. noon (to speak at 2 p.m.) and 4 p.m. (to speak at 7 p.m.) on Monday, June 15, 2020. Once registered, the citizen will be given a telephone number to call into the sessions at the appropriate agenda item.
The public will have access to observe the regular meetings of City Council through live cablecast on Roanoke Valley Television Cox Channel 3, and through livestream on the City’s Facebook page.
