The August 3, 9:00 a.m. joint meeting of City Council and the Roanoke City School Board has been cancelled due to continuing developments with regard to the reopening of Roanoke City Public Schools.

Inasmuch as there were no items to come before the Council following the joint meeting at the informal session, the 2:00 p.m. meeting will commence as scheduled.
