• 2 People Injured In Sterling Shooting: Report (patch.com) — Residents in Sterling are being reassured after two people were injured in a shooting early Sunday on the 46000 block of Community Plaza. The victims, later found at a hospital by Fairfax County police, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office says it does not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.
   

• Obituary: Black, Margaret Ann (wtap.com) — A longtime Parkersburg resident, Margaret Ann Black passed away in Sterling at age 97 after a life devoted to family, community, and helping children. While her visitation and funeral will be held later this week in Parkersburg, her many loved ones in Virginia and West Virginia are invited to remember her generosity and share condolences online.
