Church Street Holiday Stroll: Details For Vienna's Holiday Kick-Off

VIENNA, VA — Vienna residents will ring in the holiday season Monday with a beloved tradition: the Church Street Holiday Stroll.

While last year's event was held virtually due to COVID-19, the event is back in 2021 on Monday, Nov. 29 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Santa will join Mayor Linda Colbert to lead the town Christmas tree lighting. The event will begin in front of the Freeman Store, 131 Church Street NE, at 6 p.m.

Guests can also enjoy live holiday music from local groups and venture to Church Street businesses and sites. The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department will be selling holiday ornaments, and the Fairfax County Police Department will provide free Child ID Cards. Beyond the event, some businesses will offer promotions and participate in the Vienna Business Association's Holiday Shopping Pass.
