Fairfax County Police Report Burglary in Vienna in Recent Crime Log

Fairfax County Police reported two separate burglaries occurring one week apart in the Reston Police District. The two crimes are not said to be related to one another.
The first incident took place on Monday, Aug. 24. An employee at a business located on the 1400 block of Crowell Road in Vienna contacted police and reported an unknown person entered the business and took property.
Eight days later on Tuesday, Sept. 1, a resident living on the 12000 block of Sugarland Valley Drive in Herndon contacted police about a break in at approximately 1:50 p.m.

The resident told authorities that someone removed a garage door opener from an unlocked car in the driveway and used it to enter the garage, although nothing was reported as missing.

- Escalante Court/South Lakes Court, property from vehicle.
- 2800 block of Fall Oaks Place, cash from residence.
