No Injuries Reported From Church Street Fire In Vienna
A second alarm had been requested for the basement fire at a Church Street business.

VIENNA, VA—Firefighters battled a blaze on Church Street in Vienna Thursday afternoon, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
The fire department responded to the 100 block of Church Street NE for a basement fire, according to a tweet sent at 12:45 p.m. Video posted by the fire department appeared to show the fire at the Pennywise Thrift shop. A second alarm had been requested.

As of 1:47 p.m., the fire was out. There were no initial reports of injuries.

There was no immediate word on what caused the fire or how significant damages were.

Several roads and intersections around Church and Mill Streets were closed as firefighters responded, according to the Town of Vienna. Residents were asked to avoid the area.
