How To Get Rid Of Your Christmas Tree In Vienna

If your Christmas tree is beginning to dry out, there are a couple ways to get rid of it around Vienna.

VIENNA, VA—Whether you've had your tree since the Thanksgiving holiday or the week of Christmas, your Christmas tree may have already begun losing needles and drying out. Soon will be the time will come to take your Christmas tree out to the curb.

If it's time for the Christmas tree to go, localities will begin collecting trees in the coming days. Town of Vienna residents can put out their trees out with the regular trash collection.

Fairfax County encourages residents to do the same, but you should call your collector if your tree is eight feet or over. Residents may also take trees to brush collection area at the Fairfax County Citizens' Disposal and Recycling Facility, located at 4618 W. Ox Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
