Images Of Vandals That Smashed Car Windows Released
Vienna Police have a lead on suspects for at least one of the car smashing incidents targeting residents.

VIENNA, VA—Vienna Police are closer to identifying car vandals targeting residents over the months. Surveillance footage of two unknown suspects from a Dec. 20, 2017 incident has been released.
Police believe the suspects smashed a woman's car window at the Tiny Tots preschool (204 Courthouse Road SW) before stealing her purse and shopping bags were gone and using her bank card twice for purchases at Walgreens (3050-A Nutley St SW, Fairfax). The vandal had likely struck between 3 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
The surveillance footage comes from Walgreens. The suspects had been driving a light-colored newer model Nissan Rogue.

That had been one of two car vandalisms reported on Dec. 20. Parks and schools had been the locations of other car vandalisms, including three cars damaged at Vienna Elementary School and one damaged at the Cunningham Park Elementary School playground in July. The most recent incidents were at Vienna Dog Park on Jan. 13 and 15.
Police have not indicated that the suspects pictured could be tied to other car vandalisms. Anyone with information on the suspects or incident should call Detective Leroux at 703-255-6332.
