Madison High Marching Band Fundraising for Trip to Atlanta
The Pride of Vienna will attend a regional competition in October and compete with bands from 11 different states.

The “Pride of Vienna,” otherwise known as the James Madison High School marching band, is preparing to represent Fairfax County in a regional competition in Atlanta in October.
But in order to get there, the band needs some help. In conjunction with the Madison High color guard, the marching band is holding its annual Tag Day on Saturday, Sept. 12, as a fundraising effort for the trip to Georgia and the upcoming football season.
Tag Day consists of chaperoned students going door-to-door in the Vienna and Oakton communities to solicit donations and thank community members for their support. The money will help the band pay for equipment, travel, competition fees, supplemental instruction and other associated costs.
