National Taco Day: Best Tacos And Deals Around Vienna

VIENNA, VA—Move over Taco Tuesday. As it turns out, Wednesday, Oct. 4, is National Taco Day. According to the celebration's website, Americans ate more than 4.5 billion tacos last year. That's 490,000 miles of tacos — enough to take you to the moon and back — or 775 million pounds of the tasty Mexican entree, equal to the weight of two Empire State Buildings.

We don't expect you to put down quite that many tacos on Wednesday all by yourself. But now that we've put the idea in your head, we bet you're thinking about grabbing two or three for dinner.

A Yelp user sums it up by saying, "And the food is just plain outstanding for what it is. One thing is that they cook to order. A lot of Tex-Mex places will cook the food beforehand and then just assemble it when you order it. Here if you order beef, they will cook it right there."
