New Harris Teeter Opening in Vienna Area

VIENNA, VA -- A new Harris Teeter grocery store is expected to open in the spring in the Vienna area, according to employment notices for the new store.

The store will be located at 2675 Avenir Place in Vienna and is expected to open in May, according to the company. Training for new employees will begin shortly after the an upcoming hiring event at local stores until the new location opens in May.

Here are some of the positions the grocery store is trying to fill:

FT 3rd Shift Stock Clerk -- 18+, overnight hours range between 9pm -- 7am
FT Cake Decorator -- 18+, experience required
FT Deli/Bakery Clerk -- 18 +, no experience required. MOST NEEDED POSITION!!
FT Produce Clerk -- 16+, includes stocking of produce department and customer service
FT Personal Shopper Lead -- 18+, oversee home shop program and assisting with cashier and bag duties
FT Baker -- 18+, experience required
FT Meatcutter -- 18+, experience required
FT Cheese Consultant -- 18+
FT Experienced Chef -- 18+, experience required
FT Pastry Chef -- 18+, experience required
FT Dairy/Frozen Stock Clerk -- 16+, stocking of the frozen/dairy departments and customer service
FT Scan Coordinator -- 18+, maintaining price file, shelf tags and signs for store
FT Vendor Receiver -- 18+, accurately checking in DSD vendors and maintaining all documents
FT Scan/Receiver Back Up -- 18+
FT Store Accountant -- 18+, experience in cash handling, balancing and reconciling paperwork in a retail setting
FT Customer Service Clerk -- 16+
FT Seafood Clerk -- 18+, responsible for processing/packaging/stocking products
FT Meat Clerk -- 18+, responsible for processing/packaging/stocking products
