Service Adjustments to Affect Metro Orange Line from Vienna to West Falls Church
The line will share one track on weekdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. for the next two weeks, causing some delays as a result.
Metrorail’s Orange Line will share one track during midday hours for the next two weeks between the Vienna and West Falls Church stations as Metro performs work on the tracks.
The service adjustment will take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. beginning today, Aug. 31, and concluding on Friday, Sept. 11. The service adjustment will only take effect on weekdays, and will not take effect on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 7).
Because the Orange Line will share one track between Vienna and West Falls Church, the commute from one stop to the other will take about 24 minutes, Metro reported.
