Shop Local On Small Business Saturday In Vienna (Updated)

(Updated Nov. 16) VIENNA, VA—If you're shopping for holiday gifts, consider shopping at some of Vienna's fine local businesses. Consumers are encouraged to shop local on Small Business Saturday, which falls on Nov. 25 this year.

A number of Vienna businesses will offer special promotions during the day. Those confirmed to participate are:

Generation Code: Purchase a full or half-day winter coding camp and receive a $20 gift card towards any future course taken between January and May 2018. - Camps can be purchased online at Generationcode.com

Historic Vienna: Save 10% on all merchandise in the gift shop on Saturday Nov. 25. HVI members will receive 15% (excludes Vintage items) (runs noon-4 p.m.)

Since then, Small Business Saturday has turned into an annual event featuring businesses across the country. In 2016, shoppers spent an estimated $15.4 billion at small, independent business on Small Business Saturday, according to American Express.
