Suspicious Man Near Vienna School Reported: Police
Numerous parents had noticed the suspicious person in the area of Wolftrap Elementary, Vienna Police say.

VIENNA, VA—Police are looking into a report of a suspicious man at Wolftrap Elementary School in recent weeks.
On Wednesday, a resident reported that the man was driving around the pickup area at the school. One of her children said he was the same person that followed him home the previous week.
Other parents told police they had seen the suspicious man in the area in recent weeks as well.

No suspect has been identified at this time. The only description police have is that the person is Hispanic and around 60 to 70 years old. To report any information, call the Vienna Police Department at 703-255-6366.

Arrest – Narcotics Violation 18-004691
McDonalds
544 Maple Avenue, West
June 5 10:00 p.m.
A citizen requested a welfare check on his fiancé, who was intoxicated and in a vehicle with their
children. The woman and her children were located in the parking lot of McDonald's. Upon his
interaction with the woman, MPO Shaw detected signs of impairment and found narcotics and
alcohol in her vehicle.
While the officers were speaking to the woman, her friend exited the restaurant. When the friend
saw the officers, he fled on foot. Officers were unable to locate the man at that time (refer to
Incident #18-4695 for further information).
MPO Shaw arrested the 26-year-old woman from Maplewood Drive in Manassas, Virginia. She
was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where she was charged with
Possession of Narcotics, Drunk in Public and two charges of Contributing to the Delinquency of a
Minor. She was held without bond.
Arrest – Narcotics Violation 18-004695
McDonalds
544 Maple Avenue, West
June 6 1:57 a.m.
Officers observed a man in the parking lot attempting to get into a parked vehicle from a previous
incident (Incident #18-4691). The individual matched the description of the man who had fled
from police in the previous case. Upon their interaction with the man, officers found he was
wanted on outstanding warrants in other jurisdictions. The man was also in possession of
narcotics.
Ofc. Rohr arrested the 27-year-old man from Peabody Street in Manassas, Virginia. He was
transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Possession
of Narcotics. The three outstanding warrants were also served on him, charging Felony Failure to
Appear in Fairfax County, Failure to Appear on Assault and Battery in Manassas City and Failure
to Appear on Trespassing in Manassas City.

Between June 6 at 5:00 p.m. and June 7 at 8:15 a.m.
Several iPads and a laptop were stolen from the school.

Between June 8 at 12:30 p.m. and June 11 at 7:54 a.m.
An employee reported someone forced entry into the office. Some damage was done to enter
various medicine cabinets, but nothing appeared to have been taken.

Between June 8 at 5:15 p.m. and June 11 at 7:55 a.m.
An unknown person caused damage to two of the office doors in an attempt to make entry. It does
not appear that anything was taken or that entry was made.

201 Maple Avenue, East
June 10 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
A customer’s credit card was missing from her wallet. She believes the card was taken by another
customer while she was in the restaurant. The woman was advised by her bank that her card was
used for a purchase in Tyson’s Corner.

June 10 between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
An unknown person forced entry into the office and rummaged through several desks and files.
U.S. currency and property were taken.

June 12 9:24 p.m.
A citizen saw a cab driver drop off a man who was unable to provide an address or pay for cab
fare. The citizen attempted to help the man, who appeared confused and lost. He brought the man
to the Vienna Police Department where it was determined the man was missing from his home
after going for a walk earlier and becoming lost. The man was reunited with his family.
