VIENNA, VA — The Barns at Wolf Trap will reopen for the 2021-2022 season with COVID-19 protocols, the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announced Tuesday.

To attend performances at the indoor venue, attendees will need to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours of the performance. The venue will accept a vaccine card, a photo of the vaccine card on a phone or a printout from a medical provider or state's vaccine registry. Rapid antigen tests will be accepted, but at-home tests will not be accepted. All attendees will need to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.

The mask and vaccine requirement differs from the policy at the Filene Center, Wolf Trap's outdoor venue hosting summer performances. The venue returned to full capacity for August and September performances. Masks are only required in restrooms and enclosed spaces.
