VIENNA, VA — Vienna claimed victory over Herndon in the 2021 Caboose-to-Caboose Bike Ride Challenge, according to a Town of Vienna release.

From Oct. 1-30, bicyclists from both towns were invited to take the Washington & Old Dominion Trail from the Vienna Caboose to the Herndon Caboose or vice versa.

Participants were asked to post a selfie on social media and tag their respective town to show that they'd completed the challenge. Vienna bike riders had 38 percent more social media posts than Herndon riders during the challenge's 30 days.
