Vienna Driver Crosses 4 Lanes, Hits Pole
Vienna Police arrested a driver that swerved over four lanes on Maple Avenue and hit a pole.

VIENNA, VA—A drunk driver was arrested after swerving over multiple lanes and crashing into a utility pole in Vienna Wednesday, police say.
The driver was heading eastbound on Maple Avenue East around 1:07 a.m. when the car crossed over four lanes of traffic and ran off the road. The vehicle hit a town utility pole off the road on the westbound side of Maple Avenue. After striking the pole, the car spun back across four lanes of traffic into the right eastbound lane.
The crash totaled the vehicle, and the driver refused medical attention. No other injuries were reported. The car for DWI/refusal.

Pleasant Street NE / Maple Avenue West
October 26 5:03 p.m.
Vehicle-1was travelling Westbound in the 200 Block of Maple Avenue, West. While attempting
to make a right turn onto Pleasant Street NW from Maple Avenue, Vehicle-1 struck Vehicle-2 (a
bicyclist) in the crosswalk. The bicyclist had been travelling on the sidewalk and was in the
process of crossing over Pleasant Street when struck by vehicle #1. The point of impact was
approximately midway in the crosswalk of Pleasant St. The bicyclist sustained minor injury and
was complaining of slight pain, but refused rescue.

Destruction of Property/Drunk In Public 17-9960
200 Block of Cedar Lane SE
November 7 between 10:50 p.m. and 10:55 p.m.
Two citizens got into an altercation and destroyed some private property during an altercation. A
22-year-old man from Virginia Street in Alexandria, VA was arrested and transported to the
Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Warrants were obtained and served on the man Drunk in
Public and Destruction of Private Property.
