Window Decorating Winners, Photos At Church Street Holiday Stroll

Missed the Church Street Holiday stroll? Here's a recap of the winners, photos and more.

VIENNA, VA—Vienna's annual Church Street Stroll kicked off the Christmas season Monday, Nov. 27.

It was a night of caroling, holiday treats, and activities, beginning with the arrival of Santa Claus on a historic Vienna fire truck.

Independent bookstore Bards Alley was one of the Church Street businesses staying open late for holiday activities.
Residents stay warm roasting marshmallows by the fire.
Carolers helped make the night merry and bright.
The Town Business Liaison Committee also announced windows for its window decorating competition. Participating businesses set up their most festive decorations
  • 1st - Karin's Florist: 527 Maple Ave E
  • 2nd - School of Rock: 111 Center St S
  • 3rd - Social Burger: 350 Maple Ave W

But all businesses were winners in the judges' book and received superlatives, from "Most Whimsical" to "Most Traditional." You can find the full map of winners here.
