Charlottesville Rally: Hate Crime Charges For Driver Who Killed 1
The man accused of driving through a crowd of peaceful counter-protesters at a Charlottesville white nationalist rally last August, killing one person and injuring several others, has been indicted on hate crime charges, according to the Department of Justice. James Alex Fields Jr., 21, of Maumee, Ohio was indicted on 30 counts, including federal hate crime charges.
Church Vandalized With Racial Slurs
Fairfax County Police are looking into a number of break-ins and vandalisms at an Annandale area church in recent months. The most recent break-in happened Tuesday morning, and detectives found racial and religious slurs written in graffiti.

3-Year-Old Maced By Cops, Family Claims
A 3-year-old girl had to spend the night in the hospital after being maced during an altercation with police, her family claims according to a report. No charges were filed in the confrontation.

Potomac Nationals Plan Move To New City
The Potomac Nationals Class A professional baseball team plans to move from Woodbridge to a new 5,000 seat ballpark that would open in 2020 in Fredericksburg. The $35 million project would be financed by the Nationals.
