Winchester Police Seek Missing 19-Year-Old Joe Monfort (thewinchestergazette.com) — Winchester police are asking residents to help locate 19-year-old Joe Monfort, who has been reported missing in the city. Anyone with information is urged to call the Winchester Police Department or submit an anonymous tip, with detailed observations that could assist investigators. 3. Drone manufacturer expanding to Winchester (theriver953.com) — A drone manufacturer, Heven AeroTech, is opening a 56,000-square-foot production facility in Winchester, its first East Coast site and a model for future hydrogen-propulsion plants nationwide. The expansion is expected to support hundreds of jobs across the network, with recruiting already underway for manufacturing, assembly, quality, operations, and supply chain roles. Local residents may see new high-tech employment opportunities as the facility ramps up.
   

4. Author Event Set at Winchester Book Gallery September 12 (thewinchestergazette.com) — Winchester families can meet children's author Kendell Concini-Moore at Winchester Book Gallery on September 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 7 N. Loudoun St. She'll discuss her book about kids supporting their mom through sadness, highlighting emotional resilience and love.
