This weekend brings events like Festival Argentino, RiverFest and Craft Show, Pride events, Railway Festival, and Blast Off with fireworks.
VIRGINIA — As May turns into June, summer events are continuing to pop up around Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.
June 1 marks the kickoff of Pride Month to celebrate LGBTQ+ rights and culture. A few key events include Capital Pride, Reston Pride, Arlington Pride Kick Off Block Party, Alexandria LGBTQ+ Pride Fair, Fxbg Pride Month Kick Off, Pride At Mosaic and Loudoun Pride Festival.
Some of the other major events happening this weekend are: Blast Off at Wolf Trap with fireworks, Festival Argentino, Fiesta Asia, RiverFest and Craft Show, Manassas Railway Festival, Fredericksburg Greek Festival, Taste of Del Ray (sold out), Taste of Peru, D-Day 80th Anniversary Celebration and Cleveland Park Day.
