If you're looking for a different kind of Halloween experience, take a step back in time at Mount Vernon's trick-or-treat on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 3:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Tickets went on sale to the public on Sept. 17.

'Potentially Fatal' Batch Of K2 Drug Reported On Streets

The synthetic drug "K2" has been reported on D.C. streets, and the mayor is warning residents after more than 200 overdoses were reported. Mayor Muriel Bowser tweeted out an emergency alert over the weekend, stating that a "potentially fatal batch of K2 is majorly impacting the district."

Florence Update: Flooding Hits Southwest VA, Rain On Way To NoVA

The remnants of Florence, now a tropical depression, have moved north over southwest Virginia into Monday morning and will bring rain to the DC region. Some parts of southwest Virginia are under flood warnings. Meanwhile, a flood watch will take effect in Northern Virginia and DC, according to the National Weather Service.

Woman Stabbed In Back By Family Member: Police

A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after being stabbed in the back by a family member last Tuesday at a home in the 3200 block of Birchdale Square, according to Prince William County Police.
