Crash Into Springfield Plaza Building Yields No Injuries

There was no damage to the building's structure.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—A pickup truck crashed into a shopping center building Saturday morning in Springfield, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Units responded to Springfield Plaza around 9:30 a.m. for a report of a car crash into the building. Pictures shared on the fire department's social media show damage to the truck. The truck struck a column, but there was no structural damage to the building, the fire department says.

The cause of the crash wasn't immediately identified.
