Police ID Suspect in April Pot Buy That Resulted in Stabbing
He's wanted for robbery, malicious wounding, say Prince William County police.

Prince William County police are searching for a Woodbridge man who was allegedly involved in a robbery last month in which another young man was stabbed in the hand during a marijuana buy.

Police detectives on May 12 obtained arrest warrants for Timothy Racen Brown, 23, of the 14200 block of Fontana Court. He faces charges of aggravated malicious wounding, robbery, abduction and burglary, according to a police statement.
Brown is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, the statement said. Police detectives were still seeking to identify the suspect who accompanied Brown to the Woodbridge residence, in the 14600 block of Brook Drive, where the April 14 robbery occurred.

Brown and the other suspect went there to purchase marijuana, according to police. During the encounter, one suspect displayed a knife and cut the victim, a 19-year-old Woodbridge man, in the hand before taking pot and a handgun belonging to the victim.
The suspects fled the area before police arrived. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Police obtained a search warrant and searched the victim’s home for narcotics, the report added.
