2018 Voter Turnout Nearly As High As 2016 Election In King County
According to King County, about 172,000 ballots had been submitted by Thursday.

RENTON, WA - According to the latest figures from King County, turnout so far in the 2018 election has surpassed other recent elections, and is nearly as high as the 2016 election. King County has also reported an increase in voter registration, and will open on Saturday to keep up with volume.
The number of ballots submitted as of Thursday was 172,349, according to the county. By Oct. 25 2016, about 188,000 ballots had been turned in. Keep in mind, there's a little under two weeks left to vote, and elections offices typically see a surge in ballots closer to Election Day.
