About Olympia dentist - Dr. Carey V. Lasley, DDS

Dr. Carey Lasley was originally born and brought up in Southern California, where he graduated from Nordhoff High school in 1977. His undergrad was completed at Brigham Young University, and after his freshman year, he went to Alaska to work on workboats as a part of the merchant marines.  He then went to the University of Washington School of dentistry in 1984.  he is the father of six children and has a grandson and granddaughter as well. After he graduated there, he began his first practice in the downtown Seattle Columbia area.  In 1993, he moved to Olympia where he practiced on West Bay Drive along the beautiful waterfront.

During his spare time, he’s active in local schools and continuing his own dental education to help patients get the best service possible, and to keep up with the profession that is constantly changing. He does enjoy gardening, designing, skiing, and riding motorcycles along with going on family vacations.  His dental practice helped him foster and cultivate many relationships, and has gained a lot of great results with staff and patients.  He will have his oldest son join in 18 months once he’s graduated from dental school and completed his residency.

In his time, he’s treated over 29000 different patients, with over 30 years of experience, five caring staff that are ready to help, and a convenient location as well. He’s able to help with a wide range of dental issues, from putting in implants, helping one get fitted for dentures, cosmetic industry to help return the smile to the state that it was before, or even better, and even sedation dentistry and oral surgery for extractions.

The cool part about his office, is they utilize digital density, a new and innovative means to help create new fittings for patients.  It’s a new technology that’s changed the world of dentistry, in that bridges and crowns aren’t messy impressions anymore, and instead, they can look at all of the distortions and errors that are there in the process. New crowns and bridges are done with 3D models that can be used to create a fabrication of the restoration, and you’ll have the perfect crown and bridge that fits your mouth, without any faults to it.

He also offers Invisalign to fix bites, laser dentistry that involves using lasers to get rid of ulcers and also the excess tissue, and even will help out in the event of a dental emergency.

Their practice also offers advancements in research and techniques, especially in terms of the techniques that are used.  he’s pursued continuing education in order to keep his license, but it also means that he’s using it in everyday practice.  he’s learned the advances in dental research, and the techniques, and also knows how to utilize these procedures to help you, especially if you have TMJ or other conditions. If you have any issues that you feel need to be rectified, come in today and see the dentist so you can get a good feel for what you need to be done to have the perfect smile.
