• Registration Open for UW Extension Beekeeping Conference Oct. 23-24 (uwyo.edu) — If you've ever thought about keeping bees in Casper, the Wyoming Bee College is coming to Casper College Oct. 23–24 with beginner, intermediate, culinary, and pollinator tracks. Sessions cover hive health, native Wyoming bees, and honey-based products, with keynotes from a commercial beekeeper and a federal bee researcher, plus youth can attend free with a paying adult.
   

• Casper College interns begin a semester at Oil City News (oilcity.news) — Two Casper College students are spending the semester as interns with Oil City News, helping cover community events and local stories around Casper. Their work will appear alongside staff reporters, giving residents more coverage of neighborhood happenings while the students gain hands-on experience in community journalism and explore future careers in writing and reporting.
   

• Oil City News welcomes new feature writer and photojournalist (oilcity.news) — Oil City News is adding a new features writer and photojournalist who's eager to put down roots in Casper and focus on local people, culture, and history. With a background in journalism and archaeology, they plan to tell in-depth community stories and invite residents to reach out with ideas and experiences to share.
