Nearly 9,000 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In Alabama In 2 Weeks
The Alabama Department of Public Health has reported almost 9,000 new cases of COVID-19 in the state in the last 14 days.
MONTGOMERY, AL — June continues to be a month full of COVID-19 case spikes in Alabama, as the Alabama Department of Public Health has confirmed nearly 9,000 new cases of the virus in the last 14 days alone. As well, 168 people have died in Alabama in the month of June from COVID-19.
In the last two weeks, 98,318 tests have been administered in the state with 8,895 positive results. Total, the state has confirmed 28,583 COVID-19 cases and 819 deaths from the virus, with 2,416 hospitalizations and 15,974 patients presumed to have recovered from the virus.

- June 13: 976 new cases
- June 14: 857 new cases
- June 15: 314 new cases
- June 16: 531 new cases
- June 17: 942 new cases
