• Patricia Jane Baker Garyotis (May 7th, 1934 – May 27th, 2026) (tuscaloosathread.com) — Pike Road is touched by the passing of Patricia “Pat” Garyotis, whose son Corey and his family live in town. Pat, remembered for her faith, hospitality, and community service in Alabama, Texas, Suriname, and Pennsylvania, will be honored at a June 5 service in Tuscaloosa, with burial in her hometown of Akron.
