• Youth Ballfields Across Calhoun County Receive AEDs, Expanding Emergency Preparedness (calhounjournal.com) — Weaver’s youth ballfields are now equipped with a donated AED and hands-on emergency training for coaches and league leaders, boosting on-site safety for kids and families. The countywide effort, led by donor Tobi Burt and trainer Pat Brown, also places devices in Alexandria, Saks, Pleasant Valley, and Wellborn so volunteers can respond quickly during medical emergencies.
