Alameda Police Recover Stolen Jewelry

ALAMEDA, CA - Has your home been burglarized? If so, the Alameda Police Department may have your heirlooms in storage.

Last week detectives identifed and arrested a serial burglar, according to police. The suspect is accused of two burglaries in Alameda and at least two others in Alameda County.

According to police, the suspect "is a documented gang member with an extensive history of violence. Detectives also served a search warrant on his residence and located additional loss (jewelry only), most likely from other area burglaries."

Property Crimes Detectives will notify the public when the jewelry can be claimed.
